Angela B. Kropfeld

Angela Blanche (nee Thuney) Kropfeld, beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Means and Robert B. Kropfeld. Devoted mother of Mary Ann (the late William) Hodapp of Greendale, IN, Janice C. (Robert) Middendorf of Cincinnati, OH and the late Stephen J. and David L. Means.  Loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Marjorie Kunz of Edgewood, KY and the late Carol Meyer and Jack and Mary Jane Thuney.  Also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mathilda Thuney. 
Angela was a graduate of Hughes High School and she retired from the Internal Revenue Service.  She was a member of the Legion of Mary and taught religion for 20+ years at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church.  Angela enjoyed water aerobics and made many friends at the Mercy Health Plex. She passed away on Sunday, March 20th at Good Samaritan Hospital; she was 103 years old.

Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, March 25, 12:00PM at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 1750 First Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45205. Interment St. Joseph Old Cemetery.  If desired, memorials may be made to the Comboni Missionaries, 1318 Nagel Road, Cincinnati, OH 45255 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home serving the family.
