Austin R. Smith

Austin Richard Jennings Smith, devoted father of Stella Austin Smith.  Beloved fiancé of Maryssa Marie Heflin.  Caring son of Karen (nee Loewenstine) and Ed Smith.  Dear brother of Justin Smith and Carly Smith.  Loving grandson of Dorothy (nee Stevens) Loewenstine, Alice (nee Wyrick) Peak and Vivian (nee Gamble) Smith.  Also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, his Wishbone Tavern Family, best friends Erik Williams, Joey Maltry and Ben Wuebbling and his ‘other moms’ Melissa Martin, Charlene Williams and Tanya Thompson. Austin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl Loewenstine, Harold R. Smith and Roy E. Peak. Austin passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2020, age 24.  Visitation Tuesday, October 13, 12:00pm-2:00pm at Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 W. 8th Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45205, followed by Words of Remembrance and committal prayers at 2:30pm at  St. Joseph New Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the family for the benefit of Austin’s daughter.
