Carol Ann Treinen

Carol Ann Treinen (nee Frey), 76, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 30th, 1945. She graduated from Seton High School in 1963. Carol was the Financial Officer for Hoeting Realtors for over 30 years. She enjoyed boating, crossword puzzles, sunsets on the ocean, spoiling her kids and grandkids and sharing many laughs with those around her.

Carol passed away on May 23rd, 2022 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. She was in the presence of loved ones.

She is survived by her husband Ronald S. Klosterman; her children Arthur (Donna) Treinen, Andrew (Wendy) Treinen and Aaron Treinen; her stepchildren Ronald J. (Colleen) Klosterman, Jeffrey T. (Michelle) Klosterman, Trisha A. (Doug) Davis, Todd M. (Jennifer) Klosterman, Shannon C. (Tim) Darnell; grandchildren Rachel, Nicholas, Ben, Ella, Zachary and Mia Treinen and 13 step-grandchildren; siblings Roger Frey, Robert Frey, Kenneth Frey, Chuck Frey, Evelyn Frey, Annette Frey, Barbara Buelterman, Virginia (Ginny) Zinser and many other nieces, nephews, neighbors, family & friends.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Treinen and her siblings Richard (Dick) Frey, Larry Frey, Joseph Frey & Mary Lou Frey, among other friends and family.

Mass of Christian Burial, Monday June 6, 2022 at 10:00AM at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45238.  Visitation in church, 9:00AM until the time of Mass.  Final resting place, St. Joseph Old Cemetery.  Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association in Carol’s name.
