Charles R. Spies

Charles R. Spies, devoted father of Charles L. Spies of Batavia. Dear brother of Vernon Spies, Loretta Ruark and Vera Smith, all of Cincinnati and the late Emmert, Floyd, Earl, Lawrence and Donald Spies. Cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Also preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Lorena Spies. Charles worked as a printer for Best Design. 
Charles passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, after a long illness, age 79.  He was a resident of The Glen Senior Living Community.  Visitation will be Saturday, October 5, 2019, 11AM-12PM at Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 West Eighth Street, Price Hill. Rev. Bruce Hensley will be conducting funeral services at 12PM at the funeral home. Interment St. Joseph New Cemetery.
