David J. Abel

David J. Abel, beloved husband for 53 years of LaDonna D. Abel.  Devoted father of Kyle Abel and Heather (Scott) Hedger, both of Cincinnati and the late David J. Abel Jr.  Dear brother of Richard Abel of Hawaii and the late Kathy Cook.  Also preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Richard Abel.

David was a 1969 graduate of Courter Tech and was employed by Duke Energy for 40+ years as a supervisor. He passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at University Hospital after a brief illness; he was 72 years old. David enjoyed being with his family, taking RV trips to theme parks and NASCAR races and camping and fishing.
