Donald F. Huber

Donald F. Huber, beloved husband for 51 years of the late Carol C. (nee Cunningham) Huber.  Devoted father of Mike (Brigid) Huber of Loveland, Joe (Christina) Huber and Beth (Scott Chimento) Hamon, both of Cincinnati and Kathy (Tom) VanSteenkiste of West Chester. Loving grandfather of Sara, Henry, Maggie, Alex Huber, Emma, Jack, Luke, Tess VanSteenkiste, Mia, Gemma, Greta Huber, Charley, Dominic Hamon. Dear brother of Janet Weingartner and Barbara Hekler, both of Cincinnati and the late Elaine Huber and Marilyn Wilke. Also preceded in death by his parents, Frederick C. Jr. and Veronica Huber.

Don was a 1954 graduate of Elder High School and was the owner/operator of Huber’s Department Store on Warsaw Avenue. Don passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 20, 2023, surrounded by his family; he was 86 years old.  Don donated his body to the UC College of Medicine.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 2, 2023, 10:00AM at St. William Church, 4108 W. 8th St., Price Hill. The family will greet guests in church one hour prior to the Mass.  A reception and lunch will immediately follow the Mass in Father Reardon Hall, the church undercroft.
