Donald Lee Hughes Jr., beloved husband of 21 years of Michelle L. (nee Hoffman) Hughes. Devoted father of Denise Sweet, Barb (Tommy Dye) Hughes, Dawn (Aaron) Bales, Krystle (T.J. Johnson) Sweet, Tiffany Hoffman, Bonnie Hughes, Chris ‘Bubby’ (Lora) Hoffman, Cody Hughes and Anna Hughes, all of Cincinnati and Kayla (Austin Volkering) Hughes of Independence, Kentucky.  Loving grandfather of Brian, Danielle, Kaylee, Nathan, Steven, Tyler, Elijah, Daniel, Brianna, Leah, Mason, Hannah, Autumn, Johnny, Aiden, Caleb, Laney, Lucus, Riley, Miles, Colson, Payton and Grace. Dear brother of Ray Hughes of Cincinnati and Carol Hughes of Jacksonville, Florida. Caring son of Wilhelmina (nee Walz) Hughes of Cincinnati and the late Donald Lee Hughes Sr. Donald was retired and had worked as a line supervisor for Bernard Labs.
Donald passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, June 27, 2021; he was 62 years old.
Visitation Monday July 5, 2021, 3PM-4PM at Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 W. 8th Street, Price Hill. Words of Remembrance will follow at 4PM. Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home to assist the family.
