Donald J. ‘Don’ Toon Sr., beloved husband for 48 years of Gina K. (nee Waddell) Toon. Devoted father of Donald J. Toon Jr., Amy Lynn Clark and Amber J. Toon, all of Cincinnati. Loving grandfather of Cloe, George, Gvonne, Gakobe, Breauna, Terry, step-granddaughter Hannah and great-grandchildren Mi’king, Marquis, Cataleya and Jazzlyn. Dear brother of John Toon, Phyllis Royce, Linda Wilson, Bonnie Cassett and the late Tommy, Charles Edward and Diane Toon, Mary Carol Schmidt, Judy Wimmel, Sandra Latarullo and Susan Sturwall. Also preceded in death by his parents, Thomas A. and Anna Mabel (nee Raley) Toon.

Donald was a 1971 Western Hill High School graduate and served in the US Army, Vietnam Era. He had been employed by Krieg Printing and most recently worked in security for the Cincinnati Club, retiring recently due to health reasons. Donald passed away on Sunday May 14, 2023 at Delhi Post-Acute Care; he was 71 years old. Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home serving the family.
