Dorothy M. Thelen

Dorothy M. Thelen (nee Lovelace), beloved wife for 46 years of the late Bernard L. Thelen.  Devoted mother of David B. (Bonnie) Thelen and Peggy M. (Ron) German, both of Liberty Township, Paul E. Thelen of Cincinnati and the late Geriann Thelen.  Loving grandmother of Seanna (Seth) Moore of Liberty Township, Traci (Todd) Wiehe of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, Michael (Jennie) Thelen of Hebron, Kentucky and her great-grandchildren, Kristen, Ryan, Justin, Jeremy, Gabe and Noah.

Dorothy was a 1946 graduate of Western Hills High School and she was a homemaker. She enjoyed teaching cake and candy decorating classes as well as tofu cooking classes. Her unshakable faith in Jesus Christ saw her through everything that life brought her way. Dorothy passed away at Doverwood Village, Hamilton, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 after a long illness; she was 94 years old.

Visitation Saturday, August 27, 2022, 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by the Catholic Funeral Blessing at 11:00AM at Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 West 8th Street, Price Hill.  If desired, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Interment St. Joseph New Cemetery.
