Elizabeth Dragan M.D.

Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Marie-Rechtin Dragan M.D., beloved wife for 19 years of Kevin ‘Todd’ Dragan and devoted mother of their daughter, Celeste. Elizabeth is also survived by her parents, Raymond and Darlene (nee Toll) Rechtin of Burlington, Kentucky, brothers Greg (Sandy)Rechtin of Bromley and George (Morgan) Rechtin, of Burlington, Kentucky, father-in-law Joseph Dragan, brother-in-law Michael (Deanna) Dragan M.D. and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.  Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brother Bill Rechtin and her mother-in-law, Elaine (nee Gravens) Dragan.

Elizabeth had a passion for knowledge and knew she wanted to go into the medical field in her youth.  She earned her undergraduate degree at Loyola University New Orleans.  She attended medical school at the University of Kentucky, completed her neurology residency at University of Texas Houston and her MS fellowship was at Baylor College of Medicine. Elizabeth loved her family more than anything. She was always willing to help anyone and had a passion for fighting for her patient rights. She loved the beach and unplugging on vacation with her family.  She also loved UK basketball, GO BIG BLUE; and enjoyed watching the CATS with Todd and CC.

Elizabeth was a Neurologist with Riverhills Neuro Science and her patients were a very important part of her life.  She passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 14, 2024; she was 43 years old.

Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, December 21, 10:30AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church, 7130 Harrison Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45247. Visitation in church, 9:00AM-10:30AM.
