Fred Jones

Fred Jones, devoted husband of 70 years of the late Jacqueline (nee Root) Jones. Loving father of Tom (Patty) Jones and Julie Thompson both of Cincinnati, Carolyn (Jim Almond) Berling of Cleves, Hank (Lou) Jones of Seymour, Indiana, Darryl (the late Linda) Jones of Mitchell, Indiana and the late Patricia Holt and Linda Stammer. Caring grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Blanche Jones of Chicago, Illinois, Ruby Jones of Aurora, Indiana, Susie and Mary Jones, both of Kentucky and the late Crit and Roscoe Jones.  Also preceded in death by his parents, James and Gladys Jones. Fred passed away after a brief illness, Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Three Rivers Healthcare Center; he was 93 years old. Fred served in the US Army, Korean War, 1951-1953, and during his working years, Fred worked for General Motors in Norwood, retiring in 1985.

Visitation Tuesday, March 7, 2PM-3PM followed by Words of Remembrance and Military Honors, 3PM, Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 W. 8th Street, Price Hill. Final resting place for Fred and Jacqueline, Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, Kentucky.
