Gary E. Cox, dear brother of George Orling of Lima, Ohio, Michael (Frances Lynn) Orling of Florence, Kentucky, Frances (Joseph Freeman) Orling of Hamilton, Ohio, June (the late John) Reed, Sondra (the late Chancie) Walls, both of Cincinnati and the late Roy Orling, Charles (the late Stephanie Simpson) Cox aka Bill Orling and infant brothers, Louis Cox and Leo Orling. Caring uncle of George, Tyler, Alicia, Raymond, Christopher, Shawn, Chancina, Michael and Tonya, his numerous great nieces and great nephews and the late Roy Jr.  Prececed in death by his parents, James Edward Cox and Fern (nee Smith) (formerly Cox) Orling and his step-father Leo Edward Orling.

Gary worked as a flower vendor for over 50 years in Mt. Healthy and surrounding areas and made many devoted friends, especially at the Knotty Pine, Vince’s and Kenny’s. Dear friend of Betty Vince and Mike Rose for many years.

Gary passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness, on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Hospice of Cincinnati, Twin Towers; he was 68 years old.

Visitation Wednesday, June 21st, 12:30PM-1:30PM followed by the funeral service at 1:30PM, Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 W. 8th Street, Price Hill. Interment Spring Grove Cemetery.
