George F. 'Skip' Lahner

Cincinnati-George F. ‘Skip’ Lahner, beloved husband of 57 years of Judith E. ‘Judy’ (nee Bartlett) Lahner. Cherished father of David G. (Holly) Lahner, Mary T. (Kenneth) Scaggs, and Jennifer A. (Joseph) Moore, all of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. Loving grandfather of Emily (Joel) Daley, Lindsey (Clayton Schulte) Scaggs, Noah and Naomi Lahner, Morgan, Hunter and Sebastian Humphress and Ariela and Jonas Moore. Dear brother of Kathleen M. (Lou) Lucia of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky and the late Thomas L. (Janet) Lahner. Also preceded in death by his parents, George F. Lahner Sr. and Kathryn (nee Simms) Lahner. George passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home on Monday, May 11, 2020 at age 79, after a battle with cancer. He retired in March of 2015 from the Hamilton County Probate Court where he was employed as a Deputy Clerk. Private services. A Memorial Mass for George's family and friends will be scheduled when public Masses resume.
