Gloria Jean Young

Gloria Jean (nee  Marlar) Young, beloved wife for 56 years of Melvin R. Young.  Devoted mother of Tonya (Rodney) Winans and Tylar Young, both of Cincinnati.  Loving great-grandmother of Tyra Young.  Dear sister of Geraldine Flowers and Jack Marlar, both of Cincinnati and the late Reba Goodin, Sandy Whitman and Lee Marlar.  Also preceded in death by her parents, Henry Marlar and Rebecca (nee Shelton) Daniels.

During her working years, she worked for Ohio Knife Company and retired in 1981. Gloria passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 24, 2022 after a long illness; she was 74 years old.

Services for Gloria will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home serving the family.
