Cincinnati, OH-Helen A. Boertlein (nee Powell), beloved wife of the late Paul H. Boertlein, Sr. Devoted mother of Paul H. (Ginny) Boertlein Jr. of West Harrison, IN, George M. Boertlein and Linda M. (Michael) Woytsek, both of Cincinnati, Paulette D. (Richard) Schutte of Osgood, IN and Janice Eileen (Tom) Rasnick of Brookville, IN. Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lee Powell of Batavia and Lynden Powell and Selma Doan, both of Cincinnati. Preceded in death by her siblings, Joe, Nora, Charlene ‘Tina’ and infant Verda May and her parents William and Vina Jane Powell. Friday July 26, 2019 after a long illness, age 96. Visitation Thursday, August 1st, 11:00AM until 12:00PM at Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 West Eighth Street, Price Hill. Funeral service 12:00PM at the funeral home. Interment St. Joseph New Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army, 114 E. Central Parkway, Cincinnati OH 45202.
