James M. Day

James M. Day, beloved husband for 65 years of the late Theresa L. (nee Clark) Day.  Devoted father of Donna M. (Jerry) Ruwe of Mason, Ohio and Theresa K. (Hank) Mock of Cincinnati, Ohio. Loving grandfather of Jerome, Kristina, Terri, Katie, Hank, Theresa and great-grandchildren Mitchell, Max, Evie, Hailey, Sam, Anne-Marie, Charlie, Isabelle, Henry and Elizabeth.  Dear brother of Millie Mullvaney of Tampa, Florida.  Preceded in death by his 7 siblings and his parents, Daniel and Katie Day.
James was a WWII US Army veteran and a Firefighter for the City of Cincinnati for over 25 years. He spent the majority of his career with Engine 20 in Northside, retiring in 1984.  He passed away on Thursday, February 2, at Arden Courts of Kenwood; he was 94 years old.

Visitation Tuesday, February 7, 6:00PM-8:00PM, Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 W. 8th Street, Price Hill.  Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, February 8, 10:00AM at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook Avenue, Price Hill.  Entombment St. Joseph Old Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cincinnati Fire Museum , Seton High School, or Elder High School.
