Jerry L. Valentour, beloved husband for 59 years of Carol E. (nee Rich) Valentour. Devoted father of Jerry L. (Naomi Stewart) Valentour II and Hollie (Bradley) Giles, both of Cincinnati, Jackie (Jay) Haley of Corinth, Kentucky and Michelle Valentour of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. Loving grandfather of Derrick, Jerrid, Chad, Cody, Benjamin, Sara, Patrick, Katelyn, Dylan, Willow and great-grandchildren Zhavia, Zayon, Vivian, Zuri, Bradley, Benjamin, Blake, Hadley, Penelope, Zoey, Kaylee, Chloe, Carley, Caylee, Miles, Carter, Dakota, Trevor, Hunter, Alexis, Beckett and Bella. Dear brother of John Valentour of Clermont County, Ohio and the late Nolan Valentour and Paris Valentour. Also preceded in death by his parents, John William and Leverda (nee Grubb) Valentour.
Jerry was a 1965 graduate of Glen Este High School and during his working years was employed by Greif Steel Drum Manufacturing in Florence, Kentucky. He retired in 2014 after being with the company for 40 years. Jerry passed away at Select Specialty Hospital, Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, after a long illness; he was 77 years old.
Visitation Friday, July 11, 11:00AM-12:00PM, with the funeral service at 12:00PM, Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 W. 8th Street, Price Hill.
