John W. Leach, beloved husband for 50 years of Karen A. (nee Klare) Leach. Devoted father of Jeffery A. Leach and Michael W. Leach, both of Cincinnati. Loving grandfather of Jonathan, Jessica, Hunter, Addy and great-grandchildren Brody and Emberley. Dear brother of Ken Leach of Buford, Georgia and the late Joe, Carl, Bill and Infant Leach and Betty Brown. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ada Leach. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, close friends and fellow racers.
John was a 1964 graduate of Western Hills High School. He was an avid drag racer and the owner and operator of Leach’s Auto Repair on State Avenue, since 1982. John retired in 2011, but remained a fixture at the shop. He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 27, 2021; he was 75 years old.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 12PM-2PM at Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 W. 8th Street, Price Hill. Words of Remembrance and committal prayers at St. Joseph New Cemetery will follow after the visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
