Joy S. Tarter

Joy Stephanie Tarter, devoted mother of Mitchell B. (Christina) Tarter, Russell I. (Maria) Tarter and Johnathan A. (Cheyenne) Tarter, all of Cincinnati, Ohio and the late Michael J. Tarter. Loving grandmother of Kyle, Cierra, Nathan, Riley, Issac, Ethan, Kaylee, Michael, Kylee, Karissa and Kyrah and her great-grandchildren Jayce and Kylan.  Dear sister of Eugene (Judy)Tarter of Pendleton County, Kentucky, Joseph (Sheila) Tarter of Bracken County, Kentucky, Jane Adams of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joanie Tarter of Baltimore, Maryland and the late James (the late Lela) Tarter and Jack Tarter. Also preceded in death by her parents, Attis and Olivia Tarter. During her working years, Joy was employed by Cincinnati Public Schools as an Assistant Intervention Specialist. Joy passed away after a long illness on Sunday December 13, 2020 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio.  She was 61 years old. Visitation will be Friday December 18, 12:30pm-2:15pm in the Norman Chapel at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232.
