Kenneth H. Bohnert

Kenneth H. Bohnert, beloved husband of the late Sandra A. (nee LeVecci) Bohnert. Devoted father of Susan L. (Marc) Meiser, Kenneth Scott (Penny) Bohnert and Brian J. (Judy) Bohnert, all of Cincinnati.  Loving grandfather of Sarah Saskowsky, Shane Ranz, Seth Ranz, K.C. Hafele, Jessica Wilson, Ross Wilson and great-grandchildren, Anna, Ally, Ayla, Weston, Lila, Charlie, Whitley and Kat. Dear brother of Eileen Lombardi of Harrison, Ohio, Michael Bohnert of Cincinnati and the late Donald and Marlene Bohnert. 

Kenneth was a 1952 graduate of Elder High School, served in the US Army and attended the Salmon P. Chase College of Law.  He was a Cincinnati police officer for 25+ years, retiring in 1986.

Kenneth passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at his son and daughter-in-law’s residence, their farm, after a brief illness; he was 90 years old.

Visitation Friday, May 23, 10:00AM-11:00AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM, Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 W. 8th Street, Price Hill.  Entombment St. Joseph Old Mausoleum.
