Lillian E. Akers

Lillian E. Akers, beloved wife of Jesse Akers. Devoted mother of Kelly (Matthew) Farmer of Hamilton, Ohio, David (Jen) Evers and Timothy Evers, both of Cincinnati,  Jesse Akers Jr. of Los Angeles, California and Tiffany Akers of Bellevue, Kentucky.  Loving grandmother of Collin D. Evers, Jake T. Evers and Jersey Akers.  Dear sister of the late Jeanette Nutley.  Also preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Edna Nutley.  Lillian is also survived by her former husband and father of her children, John Evers of Clarksville, Tennessee.

Lillian loved music and dancing, you frequently found her snapping her fingers and bopping along, followed by her infectious smile and laughter. She loved telling stories of her childhood and early life and different landmarks sparked those stories. She enjoyed playing cards, slots and casino games, loved reading, puzzle games and shopping. She loved animals and had many over the years, and anytime she visited her children, their dogs, became hers. But most of all, Lillian loved spending time with her grandchildren, who she adored.

During her working years, Lillian worked as an inspector for US Playing Card in Cincinnati, retiring in 1998. She passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025; age 80.

Visitation Thursday, January 30, 5:00PM-7:00PM with the funeral service, 7:00PM, Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 W. 8th Street, Price Hill.  Final resting place, Maple Grove Cemetery, Miami Township.
