Richard C. Frey

Aurora, Colorado-Richard C. 'Dick" Frey, preceded in death by parents Carl and Dorothy, his siblings Larry, Mary Lou, Joe as well as in-law’s MaryEllyn Frey and Tom Treinen. Dick graduated from Elder High School and completed a degree in physics at both Xavier University and Ohio State University. He was employed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH, and retired from Buckley Air Force Base, Aurora, CO. A man of few words, quiet ways, he cared deeply in a simple, subdued manner.  His absence will leave an unfillable void for wife Janice  (nee Schoenlein), siblings Evelyn, Roger, Annette, SC; Barbara Buelterman (Ray), Bob, Carol Treinen (Ron Klosterman), Ginny Zinser (Tim), Ken, Chuck,  sister-in-law Phyllis Frey and many nieces and nephews. 
Dick passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at his residence; he was 83 years old.  Visitation Wednesday, May 4th, 9:30AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church 1175 Overlook Ave Cincinnati, OH 45238.   Entombment St. Joseph Old Cemetery.  Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home serving the family.
