Rita Louise Mahoney (nee Paff), age 93. Beloved wife of the late Daniel J. Mahoney Jr., passed away on Tuesday, November 02, 2021.
She is survived by son Daniel J. (Linda) Mahoney III, daughters Catherine (James) Holland and Mary Rita (Todd) Washburn, grandchildren Brian (Sara) and Ben (Mette) Holland and Samantha and Will (Taylor) Washburn and great-grandchildren William, Emily, Avery, Elias and Isaiah Holland. Rita grew up one of seven siblings on Martini Road in Sayler Park. She met her husband after he returned from WWII and she was working at his father’s pharmacy in Price Hill. She was a lifelong member of Holy Family Church. Her family was the joy of her life. She was an avid card player and sports fan, especially the Reds, Bengals and UC. She was a resident of the Barrington in Ft. Thomas and was loved and cared for by the residents and staff. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Family Church, 3006 W. 8th Street, Cincinnati, OH 45205.
