Robert F. 'Bob' Middendorf

Robert F. ‘Bob’ Middendorf, beloved husband for 61 years of Janice C. (nee Means) Middendorf.  Devoted father of Sherry A. (Mark) Fuller of Lawrenceburg, IN and Christine M. (Patrick) Cavanaugh of Monroe, OH.  Loving grandfather of Mallory (Matthew) Smith of Columbus, OH, Morgan (Austin) Graff of Newport, KY and Conner Cavanaugh of Monroe, OH and great-grandchild, Finley.  Dear brother of Edward and Larry Middendorf, Carol Jean Oehler and Mary Peterson. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rosella (nee Pflug) Middendorf.  Also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.

Bob was a 1958 graduate of Central High School and during his working years he was employed by Tresler Comet and Fernald Materials Production Center. He enjoyed fishing and was a longtime member of the Southwestern Ohio Conservation Club.

Bob passed Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Hospice of Cincinnati, Hamilton Avenue; he was 81 years old.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 11:00AM at St. Simon the Apostle Church, 825 Pontius Road, Cincinnati, OH 45233. The family will greet neighbors and friends 10:30AM until the time of the Mass.  Interment St. Joseph New Cemetery.
