Roy Allen Colwell

Roy Allen Colwell, beloved husband of Jackie L. (nee Mitchell) Colwell.  Caring son of the late Barbara (nee McCauley) and Lonnie Colwell.  Dear brother of Jerry Meyer of Adams County, Ohio, Charles Sellers of Indianapolis, Indiana, Teresa Brewster of Knoxville, Tennessee, Martha Fox of Oneida, Tennessee and the late Lonnie Joe Colwell. 
Also survived by his mother-in-law, Charlotte Mitchell and brothers-in-law, Michael Mitchell and Charles Helton, all of Cincinnati, his uncle Wayne Seymour and his cousins Larry Hastings Jr., Larry Hastings III, Jason Hastings and Cathy Pritchett.

Roy was a 1982 graduate of Taft High School and was employed by General Castings Company in Delaware, Ohio.  He loved being outdoors and in the woods, especially fishing and hunting for arrowheads. He also enjoyed, flea markets, thrift stores, finding a good bargain and creating Native American Art. Roy passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 at University Hospital; he was 58 years old.

Visitation Wednesday, March 8, 3:00PM-4:00PM followed by Words of Remembrance at 4:00PM, Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home, 4164 W. 8th Street, Price Hill.
