William 'Bill' P. Gilliland

William ‘Bill’ P. Gilliland, beloved husband of 22 years to Donna L. (nee Evans) Gilliland. Devoted father of Michael T. (Christopher) Gilliland of Portland, Oregon, Scott H. (Kristin) Gilliland of Cooper City, Florida, Kellie L. (the late Charlie) Strunk of Cincinnati, Ohio and the late Billy Gilliland. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Steve Gilliland of Wilmington, Ohio, Butch Gilliland of Houston, Texas and Becky Webb of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also preceded in death by his parents, Herman ‘Doc’ and Mary Lou (nee Bobbitt) Gilliland. Bill was a US Navy Veteran, serving in Vietnam as an ambulance driver. He was a truck driver for 42 years and had been employed by Ryder and most recently, Dayton Freight. He passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 after a brief illness; he was 73 years old. A Celebration of Bill’s life is planned for Monday, February 1st , 5:00pm-8:00PM at Jim & Jacks on the River, 3456 River Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45204.
