Marilyn K. Knollman, beloved wife for 44 years of the late Paul M. Knollman. Devoted mother of Jeffrey M. (Jen) and Matthew B. (Sandy) Knollman, both of Cincinnati. Loving grandmother of Kaylé (Bryson) Hessler, Shelby Knollman, Samantha Knollman, Maddie and Derek Hampson and great-grandchild, Harper Hope. Dear sister of the late Albert B. ‘Mike’ Sieve. Also survived by her many nieces, nephews, neighbors and many, many friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Martha Sieve.
Marilyn was a 1966 graduate of Seton High School and had been employed as an executive secretary at Cincinnati Financial for many years. She was also a ticket taker for many local events, including the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals, FC Cincinnati, Music Hall, Aronoff Center, UC Football and XU Football.
Marilyn's resilience shone through as she embraced travel by creating cherished memories, despite facing challenges. Her love for travel led her to explore enchanting destinations like cruising the Danube in Germany, admiring tulips in the Netherlands and a beautiful family vacation to Gulf Shores Alabama. Marilyn's journey extended to the breathtaking landscapes of Hawaii with Michael and the joyous moments at the Tournament of Roses alongside her beloved grandchildren.
Marilyn passed away on Friday, March 8, at Good Samaritan Hospital, after courageously battling cancer; she was 77 years old.
