About Us

The funeral home was founded by Ralph & Della Meyer in 1955. Terry & Terena Deters have been serving families as owners of the Ralph Meyer & Deters Funeral Home since 1990 and bring nearly 30 years of experience to the business. 

They have chosen to live next to the funeral home to be accessible at all times to the families they serve. They are parishioners at St. William Church and have been are involved in many aspects of parish life. Terry is a Past Grand Knight of the Mother Seton Council of the Knights of Columbus and Terena is a Past President of the Council's Ladies Auxiliary.

They are especially dedicated to the St. Vincent Depaul Society, which awarded them the Frederick Ozanam award in 2003 in recognition for their many efforts on behalf of their neighborhood, the poor and the unborn. The couple showed the caring spirit of Frederic Ozanam, founder of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Terry & Terena have three grown children.
